44-year-old Benjamin I. Bergman from Rochert, Minnesota has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping after meeting a juvenile female on the popular social media platform Snapchat. The victim’s mother reported the incident to Becker County dispatch on July 7th, revealing that her daughter had met Bergman online and was subsequently picked up, taken to his home north of Detroit Lakes, and sexually assaulted.
