DETROIT LAKES, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – An omnibus court hearing for State Senator Nicole Mitchell of Woodbury, Minnesota, has been rescheduled to late August in Detroit Lakes. The Becker County Court administrator’s office confirmed that the hearing has been moved to August 30th at the request of the defense. Mitchell faces a first-degree burglary charge for an alleged break-in at her estranged stepmother’s home in Detroit Lakes in April.
Several lawmakers and DFL leaders have called on Mitchell to step down, but the Woodbury Democrat has stated she has no plans to resign.
