The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following over the weekend-
Devin James Guy Johnson, 23, of Greenbush, for DUI, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Any Amount of Drugs (Not Marijuana).
Joanne Hart, 64, for Introducing Contraband Drugs/Liquor into Jail/Prison.
Michael Robert Geringer, 37, for Driving without a valid license.
Parker Marvin Hanson, 25, for Failure to Appear.
Jared Matthew Qualley, 40, for DUI in the third degree, driving under the influence.
Nick Sifuentes, 31, of East Grand Forks, for Domestic Assault.
Jesse Jerome Johnson, 42, for DUI in the third degree, driving while impaired and refusing to submit a chemical test.
Chasity Larae Bealieu, 39, of Bagley, for Emergency Telephone Call Inference with a 911 Call.
Elizabeth Marie Walker, 32, of Lake Park, for DUI in the second degree, driving while impaired.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
7/3/2024
At 5:57 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of 5th Ave S for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, the CFD was met by staff on scene, and it was found that dust had gotten into a detector, which caused the activation. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and then cleared the scene.
7/4/2024
At 3:37 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1500 block of University Ave with the Crookston Police Department for a report of a large flame coming from a residence’s backyard. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated, and it was found a resident was starting a campfire, and it was under control. There was no danger present. The CFD cleared the scene.
7/5/2024
At 8:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the 2300 block of Sahlstrom Dr. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD ventilated the room, reset the alarm, and then cleared the scene.
At 11:24 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1000 block of County Road 214 to assist local EMS with a patient who had broken their ankle in a ditch. The CFD was able to assist the patient out of the ditch to the ambulance, who was then transported to receive care. The CFD then cleared the scene.
7/6/2024
At 5:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and then cleared the scene.
7/7/2024
At 12:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 600 block of Central Ave N for a report of a Carbon Monoxide detector sounding. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated with gas monitoring tools, shutting off the residence’s water heater until it could be further examined. The CFD then cleared the scene.
