On 06/28/24, a Louisville Township resident reported they thought a bear had been in their house. They claimed this had occurred a few days before it was reported, so no further action was taken. The reporting party just wanted the Sheriff’s Office to be informed of this incident.

On the evening of 06/28/24, Courtney Nicole Gustafson (32) of Red Lake Falls was cited for a child restraint violation on Main Ave. in Red Lake Falls.

On the evening of 06/28/24, an Emardville Township resident reported their grandson was getting harassed. A Red Lake County deputy spoke with the reporting party, and they were counseled, and advice was given.

Just after midnight on 06/30/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an individual getting injured in a single-vehicle crash, but the location of the incident was unknown. Red Lake County deputies were unable to locate the vehicle, but they were able to locate the involved party. An adult female arrived at the Sanford ER in Thief River Falls to be treated for injuries and the hospital contacted the Sheriff’s Office. The female was not able to assist deputies with a location of the vehicle. Another deputy located the vehicle, in the ditch, near the intersection of CR. #2 and CR. #1, east of Red Lake Falls. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

On the evening of 07/01/24, Zachariah John Howard (21) of Oklee was cited for speeding on CR. #5 north of Oklee.

On the afternoon of 07/03/24, Jaye Allan Pyatte (32) of Red Lake Falls was arrested at his residence. Red Lake County held an active warrant for his arrest. Mr. Pyatte failed to appear in court for a Motion Hearing on 07/26/24. He posted $424 cash bail to satisfy the warrant and was released from custody. His next court appearance was scheduled for 07/17/24 in Red Lake Falls.
