Otter Tail County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Fergus Falls woman faces new charges. Authorities say she attacked a probation officer and ran from the courthouse.
Georgia Kay Wildung, 25, was charged Friday in Otter Tail County District Court. She faces felony fourth-degree assault and misdemeanor fleeing.

What Happened
According to court documents, the incident happened at about 3:21 p.m. Wednesday, March 18. Wildung was at the probation office after providing a urinalysis sample.
A probation officer then told Wildung she would be taken into custody. The complaint says that the decision followed a failed UA.
Court records say Wildung pushed a chair aside and stood up. She then shoved a probation officer against a door.
Another agent opened the door from the other side, the complaint says. Wildung then pushed the first officer into the door frame.
The officer tried to hold on to Wildung, according to the complaint. Investigators say Wildung swung free and threw the officer into a wall.
The officer fell and reported pain in the left leg and shoulder. As of Thursday, visible bruising was still present, court records state.
Wildung then ran from the probation office and left the courthouse. Officers later found her near railroad tracks south of the building.
When officers approached, Wildung ran again, according to the complaint. She was arrested after a chase of about 36 yards.
Charges and Next Steps
The injured officer was scheduled for a medical exam. The exam was meant to check for any added injury.
Wildung remained in custody pending further court action. No plea was listed in the court file available Thursday.
Under Minnesota law, fourth-degree assault can be a felony in this kind of case. That applies when a probation officer is attacked while working.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison. It also carries a possible $4,000 fine.
