Gordon D Lindholm – TRF News-Obit

Gordon D Lindholm, 69, Mesa, AZ passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 after battling Lewy Body Dementia. Gordie was born in Manistique, MI on October 29, 1956. His family moved to East Grand Forks, MN where he grew up there and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School. He went on to graduate from plumbing school at NW Technical College-Wadena and later became a master plumber. He made a career in plumbing for 45 years.

In 2001 after living many years in Denver, CO he met his soul mate Kris (Colebank) Lindholm, originally from Williston, ND. They moved to Ray, ND in 2007 where Gordie ran his plumbing business. They had 5 wonderful years there spending time with Kris’s family and golfing with her parents. In 2012 they decided to move away from the snow and cold and ended up in the Phoenix, AZ metro. Gordie again started a small plumbing service company for a few years before retiring. They lived the past 13 years in Mesa in a golf community where they met lots of wonderful friends. Weekly golf outings became their hobby along with spending time together whenever they could. They spent 25 wonderful years together and were married in 2016.

Gordie is survived by his wife Kris (Colebank) Lindholm, mother Delores Brown, sisters Lavonne Lindholm and Denise (Dave) Britton all of Grand Forks, ND, niece Rachael Britton (Alfred) Granados, nephews Christopher McCoy, Paul (Amanda) McCoy, and Andrew (Rhianna) Britton, great nephew Jackson Granados and great niece Jordan Ricker. He was preceded in death by his father Gordon H Lindholm and stepfather Wilbur Brown.

Gordie was a kind, gentle, loving man with a great sense of humor and will be forever remembered by those who loved him.

Gordie’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be a private celebration of life in the future.
