Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Bemidji woman is charged with felony drug possession after a search warrant.
Prosecutors say Crystal Leah Cloud, 41, of Bemidji, had fentanyl and drug items in a bedroom.
The case is filed in Beltrami County District Court, Ninth Judicial District.
Court records list the file as 04-CR-26-274.
Search warrant in Bemidji
The criminal complaint says agents served the warrant on January 27, 2026.
The warrant targeted 1414 Beltrami Avenue NW, Unit A, in Bemidji.
Investigators reported a strong smell of a burned chemical during the search.
They said Cloud and Jackson Bradley Brusewitz were in a northeast bedroom.
What investigators say they found
In that bedroom, agents reported finding two small “bindles” with white powder.
They said both bindles field-tested positive for fentanyl.
The complaint says the bindles weighed about 0.8 and 0.9 grams with packaging.
Investigators also reported digital scales, a scoop, and packaging items.
Those items included tinfoil, baggies, and several burned pieces of foil.
Agents also reported a white powder believed to be a cutting agent.
The complaint says one bindle had the word “cut” written on it.
Investigators also wrote that Cloud and Brusewitz appeared impaired.
Charge and possible penalty
Cloud is charged with a fifth-degree controlled substance crime, a felony.
The charge alleges possession of fentanyl, a Schedule II drug.
The complaint cites Minnesota Statute 152.025, subdivision 2(a)(1).

The maximum penalty listed is five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.

The filing lists several prior convictions for Cloud in Minnesota courts.
It also lists pending cases in Beltrami County at the time of filing.
Those include a pending first-degree DWI case.
