Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) — Police arrested Chase Donald Nomeland, 29, of Thief River Falls. The arrest followed an alleged felony DANCO violation.

Court records in the complaint say the DANCO was ordered on Jan. 27. The complaint says Nomeland learned about the order at a sentencing hearing the day before.
Prosecutors allege he still went to the home afterward. Police say they knew he often visited the home.
The complaint also notes earlier convictions. It says Nomeland was convicted on Jan. 26 of two gross misdemeanor domestic assault counts. Those convictions were tied to a 2025 court file.
The complaint also references an April 2025 conviction for violating a harassment restraining order. The complaint does not clearly say who was protected then.
