Yellow Medicine County (trfnews.i234.me) A 32-year-old Marshall man is charged after alleged slot machine damage.
The case centers on Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort near Granite Falls.
Juan Francisco Cruz Zuniga, 32, of Marshall, was charged by summons.
He faces one count of third-degree criminal damage to property.
What the complaint alleges
According to the complaint, casino staff reported the damage on November 18, 2025.
Staff said the damage happened on November 9, 2025.
Investigators say surveillance video shows a man arriving in a black Dodge Durango.
The complaint lists the arrival as about 11:30 p.m. on November 8, 2025.
Police say the man sat at a bank of slot machines with another man nearby.
At about 1:37 a.m. on November 9, the man allegedly hit a slot screen.
Police say he used the knuckles of his right hand.
Minutes later, at about 1:49 a.m., he allegedly struck the screen again.
Police say he used the heel of his hand.
Police say he then traced a line on the screen with a finger.
Investigators say he later moved to another machine.
The complaint says the other man moved to the first machine.
Police say the other man struck the machine once.
Police say Cruz Zuniga then hit the screen of a nearby machine.
Police say both men left the casino together around 4:30 a.m.
The complaint lists the investigating agency as the Upper Sioux Community Tribal Police.

Damage estimate
Casino staff estimated the repair cost at $825.61, according to the complaint.
Police also reviewed photos that showed a cracked screen.
