ST. PAUL, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Uber is threatening to pull out of Minnesota.
the Minnesota house is set to vote on a bill today that aims to ensure Rideshare drivers earn a living wage something that companies like uber aren’t inclined to stick around for the bill opposes drivers earn 1.45 cents a mile starting in the metro area which Uber says could double the cost to customers and prompt the company to stop operating in Minnesota the cost is compared to drivers making a dollar 38 a mile in Seattle and a dollar 31 a mile in New York both cities with a Higher Living costs than Minnesota Uber says while they’re they’ve been willing to negotiate with drivers the current proposal is more than the market will support
Well that just proves it. Trying to become East Portland. Walmart totally abandoned Portland. And Cracker Barrel closed every Oregon location except Medford.
Good get them off the road!!!! 99% are all people that have no clue how to drive!!!!
Pay the damn drivers!
Those cab drivers are better and have to be qualified to drive cabs with i.d. yearly. Uber is just a rip off lyft is worse. Let them go. What took so long. Driving around for nothing. Ridiculous.
Classic St. Paul screwing over the rest of the state and making life harder for the average citizen.
Bye Uber!
We already have a state government that over taxes it's citizens and now it will cost you more to commute, and run Uber out of business at the same time because it doesn't grease the palms of local bureaucrats. They must think that life is just a "Walz" for us.
Yeah, right. As if they don’t need us a lot more than we need them. Bye! I’ll believe you when it happens.
I live out in the country. Will this affect me?
Who cares if they leave. Better to support small local taxi company then to support uber. Bye bye
Driver should pull out of Uber and stop driving for these bullshiters
