Crow Wing County (trfnews.i234.me) A young man is in unknown condition after a serious assault near Garrison.
What happened
Deputies were called just before midnight on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026. The call came from near the Crow Wing and Mille Lacs county line. Officials have shared a few details so far.
The sheriff’s office said a 20-year-old man was found during a traffic stop in Mille Lacs County. He was injured and needed urgent care. First responders treated him at the scene. He was then airlifted to a medical facility. His condition has not been released.
Search warrant and arrests
Investigators served a search warrant at a home on Edgewater Circle in Crow Wing County. Authorities arrested three people linked to the case. Two of those arrested are juveniles. A third person is a 19-year-old man.
Officials said the 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault. The sheriff’s office has not released any names. Juvenile names are often withheld by law. The case is still under review.

KSTP reported the victim was found during a traffic stop and flown to a hospital. MNCRIME reported the stop was near Highway 169 and Vineland Road. MNCRIME also reported the victim may have been stabbed. Officials have not confirmed that detail in public statements.
