Deputies arrived and spoke with the woman, the complaint says.

She appeared upset and scared, according to the report.

The woman said she and Wendorff had dated for about two years.

She said they lived together at the home.

The complaint says an argument started inside the residence.

The woman said she went into a bathroom to get some space.

She reported Wendorff forced his way in, the complaint says.

The report describes a struggle during that moment.

The complaint says a wall was damaged during the dispute.

Later, the woman said she tried to call a mental health crisis line.

She said Wendorff then took her phone and car keys, the complaint states.

The complaint says he left the home for a short time.

The woman said she locked the front door after he left.

She then heard him return, the complaint says.

Investigators say Wendorff kicked the locked door until it broke open.

The woman called 911 after he left again, the complaint states.

She told deputies she feared for her safety and her child’s safety.

Prior record noted in the complaint

The complaint says Wendorff has prior domestic violence-related convictions.

It lists a domestic assault conviction from 2023.

It also lists domestic abuse no-contact order violations from 2022 and 2023.
