Sonja Knaack, of Red Lake Falls, MN, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at her home, at the age of 55.
The family is planning for a celebration of life service in the Spring.
Daughter of Philip Roy Torgerson and Sandra Kay (Skaaren) Cobb, Sonja was born on July 31, 1970. She was baptized at Silver Creek Church and confirmed at Abundant Life Church in Thief River Falls. Sonja attended Knox Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1988. She continued her education at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls and at UND in Grand Forks, ND.
On September 23, 1995, Sonja married Kim Knaack at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. That same year, she began her career at Digi-Key Electronics, where she remained a dedicated employee until her passing.
Sonja is survived by her father, Philip Torgerson; her mother, Sandra Cobb; her sister, Anita (Wayne) Mensen; and her niece, Heather (Garrett) Arnold.
Her life was marked by commitment to family and work. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
