Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) A Bemidji woman is facing several charges after police say she threatened a roommate with a knife during an argument over stolen toilet paper.
Court documents say officers were called to a residence at 1100 Roosevelt Road Southeast at 2:15 p.m. on Monday. The home is shared by Sabrina N. Kaiser and two roommates.
One of the roommates told police that Kaiser accused her of stealing toilet paper. She said Kaiser began yelling at her during the argument. The victim said Kaiser then grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened her with it. The victim fled to a bedroom and called for help.
Officers arrived soon after the call. Police say Kaiser resisted them before she was taken into custody. No injuries were reported at the home.
Kaiser now faces multiple charges. She is charged with felony assault with a dangerous weapon and felony terroristic threats. She also faces gross misdemeanor domestic assault and misdemeanor obstructing the legal process.
Court records did not list the value of the items involved in the dispute. Police say the argument began suddenly and escalated very quickly.
