FARGO, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — Fargo Police say they are still searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed early Saturday morning in a South Fargo neighborhood.
Moorhead Police Sgt. Alex Nelson confirmed the details to TRF News on Saturday. He said officers responded to a stabbing call at 6:11 a.m. in the 10 block of 12th Street South. The victim was found with serious injuries. Police say the wounds are believed to be the result of a violent assault.
The victim, an adult male, was transported by ambulance to a local medical facility. Police have not released his condition. Early radio traffic said the victim had suffered two stab wounds, though the full extent of the injuries remains unknown.
Officers searched several blocks around the scene. They canvassed yards, alleys, and nearby properties. They also spoke with residents in the surrounding area.
No arrests have been made. Fargo Police say the investigation remains active. Detectives are reviewing evidence and looking for additional witnesses. Police have not released a suspect description at this stage of the investigation.
