Steve Soiney of Thief River Falls, MN passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Oakland Park Community in Thief River Falls, MN.
Funeral service for Steve will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Obit in Thief River Falls, MN with Dr. Reverend Betty trfnews.i234.me officiating. The family is asking people attending the service wear bright clothing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
Steven Wayne Soiney was born February 17, 1956 in Thief River Falls, MN son of Clayton and Arlyne (Lenhart) Soiney. He was raised in Thief River Falls where he attended school. He worked at various jobs in the area until he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in his 20’s. Steve was always upbeat and had a great outlook on life. He never met a stranger. You could find him traveling around the area on his scooter. Steve met his soulmate Pam Hruby and they enjoyed traveled all over the country.
Steve is survived by his brother Delwyn (Sandy) Soiney of Duluth, MN, sister Arlette (Steve) Kreager of Burnsville, MN; soulmate Pam Hruby of Thief River Falls, MN; aunt Patsy Elliot of Thief River Falls, MN; along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents Clayton and Arlyne; several aunts, uncles and other family members.
