Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) ā Police responded to a two-vehicle crash near the railroad crossing at Davis Avenue and Third Street on Sunday night.
The incident was reported at 10:01 p.m. on November 3. According to the police report, a 2012 Jeep Wrangler was traveling westbound on Third Street at the time of the crash.
The Jeep, driven by Ike Olson of Thief River Falls, struck a 2013 GMC Yukon XL driven by Ridge Jones, also of Thief River Falls. Jones had been stopped in traffic for a train at the railroad tracks when the collision occurred.
Police reported no known injuries. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
The crash was described as a low-speed rear-end collision caused by stopped traffic near the train crossing.
