TRAILL COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Hillsboro man was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash north of Hillsboro on Sunday evening.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, 66-year-old Rollin Eberhardt of Hillsboro was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on Traill County Road 13 near the 16300 block when the pickup left the roadway and rolled.
The crash was reported at approximately 6:26 p.m. on November 9. Eberhardt was transported to Hillsboro, where he died just before being airlifted to Fargo by Sanford AirMed.
Authorities say Eberhardt was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Road and weather conditions were reported as dry.
Responding agencies included the Traill County Sheriff’s Office, Hillsboro Fire Department, Hillsboro Ambulance, and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
