Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A crime scene investigation is underway in Horace, North Dakota, on this Wednesday morning.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, there is a heavy law enforcement presence in the area of Jack’s Way in Horace, just south of Fargo. Deputies are asking the public to stay clear of the area while the investigation continues.
As of this morning, officials have not released details about what prompted the large police response. The sheriff’s office did confirm that there is no active threat to the public.
Witnesses in the area report multiple sheriff’s vehicles and investigators on scene. More details are expected to be released once authorities conclude their initial response and secure the area.
