GRIGGS COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — A man and woman from Cooperstown, North Dakota, are facing serious drug trafficking charges following a Thursday raid on Main Street.

According to the Griggs County Sheriff’s Office, multiple search warrants were executed on Thursday in Cooperstown. One search occurred at a local thrift store on Main Street, while another took place at the home of Hayley Brandner and Blair Froiland.

Deputies reported finding several controlled substances, including psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, and methamphetamine. They also recovered drug paraphernalia from the scene. Both Brandner and Froiland were taken into custody following the searches.

Court documents show that the pair now face felony charges of delivery of a controlled substance — specifically mushrooms — and delivery of marijuana. They also face misdemeanor charges for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges could be filed as evidence is processed. The Griggs County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by local and regional law enforcement agencies during the operation.

Drug enforcement operations like this are part of a continuing effort by North Dakota authorities to combat controlled substance distribution in rural communities. Similar investigations across the state have recently led to multiple arrests. For background on North Dakota’s drug laws and penalties, visit the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office.

More updates will be released once formal court proceedings begin.
