NORTHWEST MINNESOTA (trfnews.i234.me) — The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train is once again rolling across North America this holiday season, bringing festive music, lights, and community spirit to towns throughout Minnesota and beyond.

CPKC announced its 2025 Holiday Train schedule and artist lineup, which includes two trainsets that will visit 196 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Each stop will feature live performances and serve as a fundraiser for local food banks.

Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and collected about 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks across North America.

This year’s U.S. route begins November 22 in Hermon, Maine, and concludes December 18 in Kenmare, North Dakota. The train will make its way through Northwest Minnesota on Tuesday, December 16, with multiple stops throughout the region.

The Holiday Train not only spreads Christmas cheer but also raises awareness and funds for local food banks and hunger relief organizations. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations or monetary contributions, all of which stay within their local communities.
