Cass County: Fargo Man Charged In Meth Trafficking Case

CASS COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — A Fargo man is facing felony drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop earlier this month that led to the discovery of meth and cash.

According to court documents, 41-year-old Willie E. Turner was pulled over on October 1 on the 500 block of South University Drive in Fargo. During the stop, officers called in a K9 unit to search the vehicle.

The dog alerted to possible narcotics, and a search revealed nearly one ounce of methamphetamine hidden under the driver’s seat of Turner’s car. Officers also found $7,500 in cash in his pocket.

Turner was arrested and is now charged with felony possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. Authorities say the large amount of drugs and cash is consistent with trafficking activity.

The case is being handled by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Fargo Police Department. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as evidence is reviewed.

Turner remains in custody as his case proceeds through Cass County District Court.
