Bismarck Man Serving Time for Gross Sexual Imposition
BISMARCK (trfnews.i234.me) – The North Dakota Sex Offender Registry lists 53-year-old Wilson Grant Paul as a lifetime registrant with a moderate risk level. He is currently incarcerated.
According to court records, Paul was convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition in Cass County District Court on October 13, 2008. At the time of the offense, he was 35 years old. The conviction involved a 9-year-old victim who was forced to watch pornographic movies and perform sexual acts on multiple occasions. The victim was told not to report the abuse.
Paul was sentenced to 25 years, with 18 years to serve, seven years suspended for 10 years, and 10 years of supervised probation. He also received 258 days of credit for time served.
Registry details describe Paul as an American Indian male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 239 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Tattoos and scars noted include a cross on his left finger, his name in Old English script across his back, and markings on his hands and arms. His last listed address was on Apple Creek Road in Bismarck, Burleigh County.
Because of the seriousness of the conviction, Paul is required to remain on the North Dakota Sex Offender Registry for life. Officials remind residents that public registry information is for community safety and may not be used to harass or commit crimes against listed individuals.
