Grant County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man is facing charges after a Friday morning DUI rollover crash.

According to the Patrol, troopers responded to a rollover crash in Grant County. The driver allegedly left the scene before emergency responders arrived. He was later located walking along the roadway.

Authorities say the man sustained only minor injuries. However, they noted the situation could have had much worse consequences. The driver now faces multiple charges, including DUI, leaving the scene of a crash, and a citation for care required while operating a vehicle.

Officials stress that impaired driving continues to be a major risk on North Dakota roads. They urge drivers to plan and avoid getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol or drugs. The Patrol added: “Don’t drive impaired.”
