Pennington Co. Teen Cited for Disorderly Conduct

THIEF RIVER FALLS, PENNINGTON COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — A Thief River Falls teen has been cited following a disturbance at a local restaurant earlier this month.

According to police, officers responded at 2:30 p.m. on September 7 to a report of disorderly conduct at the Dairy Queen in Thief River Falls. Witnesses told officers that a man had been harassed inside the restaurant’s bathroom.

The suspect, identified as Joey George Lalonde, 19, allegedly reached over a bathroom stall and poured pop on another man. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Lalonde was cited for disorderly conduct. Police did not report any further disturbances at the scene.

The case remains under review by Pennington County authorities. Officials remind the public that even seemingly minor disturbances can result in misdemeanor charges under Minnesota law.
