Cass County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – Fargo police have released an update regarding a shooting incident that occurred Wednesday evening. The report says the incident began with a 911 call at 7:25 p.m. from an adult male who stated he had been shot by another male inside a residence on the 1400 block of First Avenue South.
According to authorities, after the shooting, the suspect and another male fled the scene in a small, four-door dark-colored sedan. Police believe the vehicle may have been a 2006 to 2011 Honda Civic driven by a third individual.
The relationship between the victim and suspect is unclear at this time. First responders transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been confirmed. Fargo police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact their department directly. This appeal for public assistance comes as officers continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
Incidents such as this highlight the importance of community involvement in aiding law enforcement investigations. More details are expected to be released as the case develops. For background information on reporting crimes, visit the Fargo Police Department website.
