Cass County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Fargo landscaping crew is recalling a frightening moment after being robbed at gunpoint while finishing a job early Tuesday morning.Fargo Police confirmed they were dispatched to the 300 block of 26th Avenue North for a reported robbery. According to crew members of Snow & Lawn Dynamics, a man approached them and demanded their truck.

“He was by the driver’s door and pulled out a gun,” said Korey Krueger of the family-run business. “He said he was going to take the truck and told us to disconnect the trailer.”

Krueger said the man threatened that nobody would be hurt if they allowed him to leave with the truck. The suspect displayed a small firearm, entered the vehicle, and quickly sped away through the intersection.

Police say the suspect initially got away with the company-issued truck and trailer. A short time later, officers recovered both a short distance down the road. Investigators confirmed that no one was injured during the incident, and the crew’s personal belongings were left behind.

“The vehicle and equipment got damaged, but those are insured and replaceable,” Krueger said. “A person’s life isn’t. Fargo is just getting so crazy lately with all the gun crime.”

He added that he never expected to face such danger at work. “Now I have to think about not getting shot while doing my job,” Krueger said.

Fargo Police said the investigation remains active. The suspect has not yet been identified. See Fargo Police updates here.
