Washington County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A former Hudson teacher and nanny is facing multiple criminal charges in Minnesota and Wisconsin after being accused of sexual relationships with teenage boys, including her employer’s son.

According to Washington County court records, 24-year-old Abigail Michelle Faust is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly engaging in sexual penetration with a 15-year-old boy between December 2024 and August 2025. Faust had worked as the boy’s nanny since 2021.

The criminal complaint alleges that Faust began sending the teen sexually explicit messages on Snapchat in December 2024. He told investigators that she sent photos of herself in lingerie and acknowledged the illegality of their contact. On December 22, she allegedly kissed him at his home, and their relationship escalated in January 2025 when Faust reportedly performed sexual acts on him at her residence in Hudson, Wisconsin. The teen stated that they later had intercourse on multiple occasions, including during overnight stays at his home. Faust allegedly described their relationship as “true love” and even spoke about having a child together.

The boy also told authorities that their relationship continued into the summer, including a family trip to the Bahamas, where Faust was present. During another family trip to Florida in April, Faust allegedly began a second sexual relationship with the boy’s juvenile friend while caring for the family’s pets.

In mid-August, the victim’s parents grew suspicious and learned that Faust had already been charged in Wisconsin with other child sex-related offenses connected to her work as a teacher in the Hudson School District. Around the same time, the parents of the boy’s friend contacted them with similar concerns.

In Wisconsin, Faust faces four felony charges in St. Croix County, including failure to act on child sexual assault, causing mental harm to a child, child enticement, and sexual misconduct by school staff. Prosecutors allege Faust kissed a fifth-grade student after class, an incident discovered during a broader investigation into another Hudson teacher, Madison Bergmann, who is also accused of child sex crimes. Court documents show Faust and Bergmann were friends and exchanged text messages about students. Both resigned from the district in May 2024 during internal investigations.

The Hudson School District later issued a letter to families saying it strengthened staff training on professional boundaries, partnered with a prevention organization, and expanded parent communication on staff expectations.

Faust is currently being held in St. Croix County on Wisconsin charges and awaits extradition to Minnesota on the Washington County warrant. If convicted in Minnesota, she faces up to 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine. Court proceedings in Wisconsin remain ongoing. Read Minnesota’s third-degree criminal sexual conduct statute here.
