Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Thief River Falls man escaped injury after a van collided with a road sign in rural Pennington County.

The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office reports the crash happened at 2:26 a.m. on July 31, 2025, at the intersection of 140th Avenue Northwest and 170th Street Northwest.

Authorities say George Davis of Thief River Falls was driving a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan when he failed to see a stop sign in time. His vehicle crossed the intersection, left the roadway, and struck an intersection sign.
