Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – Minnesota deer hunting licenses for the upcoming season are now on sale, and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) says hunters will see a major change this year.
According to DNR Big Game Program Coordinator Paul Burr, the A and late southeast seasons have been streamlined under a single statewide license.
“There’s just one license that’s good for the A season statewide,” Burr explained. “In the southeast, what was formerly known as the B season is now called the late southeast season. You only need that one license to hunt both seasons.”
While the late southeast season remains available, hunters will no longer need to purchase a separate license to participate.
Additional details and regulations are available on the Minnesota DNR website.
