Mahnomen County (trfnews.i234.me) — A warrant has been issued for a Ulen man accused of threatening to burn his wife and their home during a July 2025 domestic incident in Mahnomen County.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Mahnomen County District Court, William Ellsworth Keezer, 48, is charged with felony threats of violence and gross misdemeanor domestic assault, subsequent violation following the alleged incident on July 6, 2025.

Deputies responded to a residence on State Highway 113, where the victim reported that Keezer threatened to burn her and set fire to the house while they were sitting around a fire pit. Responding officers noted a smoldering fire and the odor of lighter fluid at the scene.

The victim told deputies she feared for her life and described previous domestic incidents involving Keezer. Court records indicate Keezer already has a pending domestic assault case from 2024 and a prior conviction for violating a domestic abuse no-contact order.

Keezer was not located following the incident and remains wanted on the new charges.

If convicted, Keezer faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine on the felony charge.
