Beltrami County, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – We have an update on the late Saturday night / early Sunday morning fire that broke out north of Bemidji along Gull Lake.

According to Bemidji Fire Chief Justin Sherwood, crews were dispatched at 11:49 p.m. Saturday to the 1900 block of Gull Lake Loop Road Northeast, approximately 16 miles north of Bemidji, for a structure fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a large pole-type building fully engulfed in flames. As additional crews arrived, they pulled extra hose lines to battle the blaze. Due to the intensity of the fire, mutual aid was requested from Blackduck Fire Department.

In total, 28 firefighters worked the scene for about four hours. Sadly, the building and all of its contents were declared a total loss.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation, though officials say it appears to be accidental.

I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News.
