Stanford Township, Isanti County (trfnews.i234.me) – A tragic motorcycle crash late Tuesday night has claimed the life of a rural Cambridge man.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. on July 8, authorities responded to the 27000 block of Variolite Street Northwest after reports of a collision. According to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcycle, driven by 58-year-old William Windhauser, struck a deer, causing a violent crash.
First responders arrived to find Windhauser in respiratory distress and immediately began lifesaving measures. He was airlifted by North Air Care to North Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office confirmed the fatality the following day. The crash remains under active investigation.
