West Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – One person has been displaced after an early Sunday morning fire broke out at the Northern Light Apartments in West Fargo.

At 6:25 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to 2920 Cheyenne Street for reports of a structure fire. Upon arrival, smoke was visible coming from a fifth-floor unit, and the building’s sprinkler system had been activated, helping contain the flames.

Officials believe the fire was cooking-related, though the exact damage estimate has not yet been determined.

Thankfully, there were no injuries to residents or emergency personnel. However, several apartment units sustained water damage, and one resident was displaced.

Responding agencies included the West Fargo Fire Department, West Fargo Police, Fargo Fire Department, Sanford Ambulance, and the Red Cross, who are assisting the affected tenant.

I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News.
