Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — Victoria V. Swanson of Grafton has been charged with felony theft in Grand Forks, according to court documents.

The charge is tied to an incident reported on December 1, 2025. A male victim told police he had recently ended a relationship with Swanson. He said he returned home and found her belongings gone. He also said his car was missing.

Court documents say the victim reported that Swanson later sent a text message. The message promised she would return the car. Police say the car was not returned as promised.

Swanson was later arrested and is now facing the felony theft charge. Court records also show she had outstanding warrants at the time of the arrest. Those warrants were tied to other drug and theft matters.
