Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — In a major development out of Beltrami County Court, Colin James Rushman, 36, of Deer River, has been found guilty on all charges related to the sexual abuse of a child under 14.

Rushman faced three felony counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and one felony count of violating a no-contact order. The victim’s mother had issued the protective order, which Rushman allegedly ignored during the abuse that occurred between March 1 and July 4, 2024, according to court documents.

Each of the criminal sexual conduct charges carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison. Rushman’s sentencing is set for August 21.
