PINE RIVER TOWNSHIP, MINNESOTA (trfnews.i234.me) – A serious crash unfolded Wednesday morning in Cass County when a Ford F150 pickup crossed the centerline on Highway 371, colliding head-on with an oncoming Freightliner semi-truck.

The incident occurred at 8:37 a.m. on June 18 near 20th Street. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 20-year-old Mya Marie Stacey of Nevis, MN, was driving the southbound F150 when it veered across lanes and struck a 2009 GDAN Freightliner, driven by 28-year-old Ryan Spadgenske of Hawley.

Stacey was transported to Essentia Medical Center in Brainerd with non-life-threatening injuries. Two passengers in her vehicle, ages 16 and 11, were uninjured, as was the semi driver. Both vehicles deployed airbags, and all occupants were wearing seatbelts.

The crash occurred on dry roads, and no alcohol was involved. Responding agencies included the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Pine River Fire Department.
