POLK COUNTY (👉 trfnews.i234.me) — A raging house fire lit up the skies over Mentor, Minnesota, on Monday evening, but thankfully, no one was injured in the dramatic blaze.
Authorities say the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a fully engulfed structure fire on the 14800 block of Maple Inn Road. SE. Firefighters from Mentor arrived quickly and were able to extinguish the flames shortly after.
At the time of the incident, the home was unoccupied. All residents and pets have been accounted for and are safe, according to officials.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is now investigating the cause of the fire, which remains undetermined.
Multiple agencies responded, including the Fertile and Erskine Fire Departments, Ottertail Power, and County EMS.
