Roseau County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Roosevelt, Minnesota man is now facing felony threats of violence and misdemeanor domestic assault charges following a disturbing series of events reported by a female victim.
According to court documents, Connor Ross Womiche allegedly texted the victim multiple death threats while in Missouri back in May. Then, on June 7th, a Roseau County deputy responded to a report from the same victim at a home near rural Warroad, Minnesota.
The woman claimed Womiche attacked her, tried to take her phone, and choked her. In self-defense, she says she bit him on the arm to get free. Womiche denied punching or choking the woman, according to the complaint.
The case is under investigation as serious charges move forward in a Minnesota court.
