Maple Grove & Brooklyn Park (trfnews.i234.me) – In a disturbing sequence of events, two teenage males were shot and hospitalized within minutes of each other Sunday afternoon in the Minneapolis suburbs.

In Maple Grove, police responded around 4:00 p.m. on June 8 to a shooting at a home on the 12300 block of 94th Avenue. A 16-year-old male sustained a through-and-through gunshot wound to the upper thigh. EMS confirmed he was vital and stable during transport.

Just minutes later, at 4:11 p.m., Brooklyn Park officers were called to the 5600 block of 96th Avenue North after an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the calf was dropped off. A secondary crime scene was later found at the 9100 block of Woodhall Crossing.

Both teens survived. No arrests have been made, and investigations in both cities are ongoing. Police have not confirmed if the shootings are related.
