Holmes City Township (trfnews.i234.me) – A serious crash in Douglas County left a 19-year-old man injured Saturday evening after his Ford Model T collided with an SUV on Highway 27 near West Mill Lake Road.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, both vehicles were heading westbound on Highway 27 at approximately 6:38 p.m. on May 31, 2025, when they collided under dry road conditions.

Mason Luke Neubauer of Farwell, Minnesota, was behind the wheel of a 2019 Ford Model T and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Alomere Hospital.

The other vehicle involved, a 2005 GMC Envoy driven by 64-year-old Tami Ellen Sampson of Herman, Minnesota, did not result in any reported injuries. Sampson was wearing a seat belt, and no airbags deployed in either vehicle. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and North Memorial Ambulance assisted at the scene.
