Sheldon Township, Houston County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — On Monday, May 26, 2025, at approximately 5:01 p.m., an 18-year-old motorcyclist from Galesville, WI, was involved in a single-vehicle accident on northbound Highway 76 near Milepost 15 in Sheldon Township, Houston County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the rider lost control of her 2025 Kawasaki EX650, causing the motorcycle to leave the roadway.
The motorcyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, for treatment. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Authorities reported that road conditions were dry, and alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
Responding agencies included the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Caledonia Ambulance.
