Linton, Emmons County (trfnews.i234.me) — The search for 39-year-old Heather Caras has come to a tragic end. Caras, who had been missing since January 24, 2025, was found deceased near the Missouri River, according to social media posts from friends and family. The Emmons County Sheriff’s Department has not yet released an official statement regarding the discovery.
Caras was last seen leaving her home in Linton, North Dakota, reportedly to warm up her vehicle. The following day, her gold 2000 Chevrolet Silverado was found abandoned near Beaver Bay, with the keys still in the ignition. Despite extensive searches by foot, air, and water, no trace of Caras was found until now.
