63-Year-Old Driver Loses Consciousness, Crashes into Tree on Highway 371 – Crow Wing County – trfnews.i234.me

Crow Wing County, MN (trfnews.i234.me)On Saturday, May 24, 2025, at approximately 10:16 AM, a single-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 371 at Susanville Drive in West Crow Wing Unorganized Township. The driver, 63-year-old Eugene Arthur Glassel of Prior Lake, reportedly felt unwell, lost consciousness, veered off the road, and struck a tree in the right-hand ditch.

Glassel and his passenger, 55-year-old Kay Christine Wicks, also of Prior Lake, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to St. Joseph’s Health for treatment. Both individuals were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The road conditions were dry, and alcohol was not a factor in the incident. Emergency responders included the Nisswa Police Department and the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.
