Massive Meth Bust: Polk County Man Faces First-Degree Drug Charges​

Polk County (trfnews.i234.me) – On April 24, 2025, Robert Barrett Yahnke, born November 1, 1963, was arrested in Polk County, Minnesota, and charged with first-degree drug sale under Minnesota Statute § 152.021, subdivision 1(1). This statute pertains to the unlawful sale of 10 grams or more of methamphetamine within 90 days.

Under Minnesota law, a conviction for this offense carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $1,000,000. If the individual has a prior controlled substance conviction, the minimum sentence increases to 4 years, with a maximum of 40 years.

Yahnke is currently in custody at the Northwest Regional Corrections Center, awaiting further legal proceedings.
