95-Year-Old Woman Injured in Highway 169 Crash – Itasca County Chaos Unfolds

HARRIS TWP (trfnews.i234.me) — An early morning crash on Highway 169 in Harris Township, Itasca County has left a 95-year-old woman with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred at mile marker 301 on April 16, 2025, at 9:57 AM, in dry road conditions.

According to authorities, a 2002 Cadillac Seville driven by Jeane Verna Lussier-Marinaro turned east from the southbound lanes of Hwy 169, colliding with a 2010 Ford Ranger driven by 71-year-old Robert A. Ellison, who was heading north.

The Cadillac’s airbags deployed, and Lussier-Marinaro was transported to Grand Itasca for treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was not involved. Ellison was uninjured.

The crash was handled by Itasca County officials and is under investigation.
