Jamestown (trfnews.i234.me) ā A Jamestown man is facing new charges. Police say he made threats at a home. Police also say he caused damage inside the residence.
Aaron Carow was arrested Tuesday night, according to court documents. He appeared in court on Wednesday. He pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. He is also awaiting arraignment on a felony terrorizing charge.
Threat reports led to an arrest
Court records say police were called to a Jamestown residence. The caller reported Carow was intoxicated. The caller said Carow was being destructive. The caller also said Carow made threats.
The caller told police Carow threatened to burn down the house. The caller said Carow claimed it would bring peace. The caller also told police about a prior arrest. The caller stated that Carow was arrested the previous day for trespassing.

Witnesses describe violent statements
In a phone call with officers, the caller reported a threat to kill. The caller also reported threats to burn the house. Court documents say the caller feared he would be harmed that night.
Another witness spoke with police, according to records. She said she heard Carow threaten to put the caller to sleep. She also said she heard threats about burning the house.
The caller also reported that Carow yelled outside the home. The caller said Carow claimed he was trying to kill people.
What the police say Carow told them
Officers later interviewed Carow, the probable cause statement says. Records say Carow acknowledged making threats. Police say Carow told them he might burn the house. He said it would be to get the other person help.
Police told Carow they did not want anyone hurt that night, records say.
Bond and court dates
Bond was set at $15,000 cash or $30,000 surety, court records say. Carow is scheduled to appear Feb. 4. That date is listed for a preliminary hearing and arraignment. It is tied to the terrorizing Class C felony charge.
Carow has not entered a plea on the felony charge, records say. A felony jury trial is scheduled for May 12. The misdemeanor criminal mischief case remains pending.
