Neil Berg here I took a jog North off of Interstate 10 and I’m in downtown Dallas Texas in Dealey plazas where President John F Kennedy was assassinated back in 1963. look out on the street back there that X on the street marks the spot where the Fatal shot struck President Kennedy the man who shot him Lee Harvey Oswalt fired from the sixth floor of The Book Depository back there it’s now home to the sixth floor Museum what strikes you instantly about this site is how small it is the assassination investigation determined Oswald fired three shots from the sixth floor window as the Kennedy motorcade drove by one shot missed a second shot hit him in the neck and the third fatal shot struck Kennedy in the head some conspiracy theorists also believed there was a shot from the grassy knoll now we’ll take you into the sixth floor Museum it’s from this window Oswald fired during my career I interviewed two people directly involved in the assassination Governor John Conley of Texas was sitting in front of Kennedy and was wounded during his life he went back and forth as to whether or not he heard a shot from a different direction Than The Book Depository the second person I interviewed regarding the assassination was Clint Hill the secret service agent who jumped up on the back of the limousine just after the Fatal shot to push Jacqueline Kennedy back in the limo Hill is a native of Washburn North Dakota Hill says he’s a firm believer that Oswald was a lone gunman he points out that it’s now been decades since it happened and if there actually was a conspiracy someone would have talked by now the sixth floor museum at Dealey Plaza takes you through all the events leading up to and following the assassination of JFK that left a lasting impression on the memory of our nation in Dallas Texas I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
