Pennington County, Minnesota, (trfnews.i234.me) – 20-year-old Ryleigh James Kostrzewski has been charged with an astounding ten felony counts related to the possession of child pornography.
The chilling case began when authorities received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children on June 9th. Investigators quickly uncovered four videos allegedly uploaded by Kostrzewski, depicting horrifying acts involving underage girls.
On June 27th, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Kostrzewski’s residence in Thief River Falls, where he admitted to his crimes and revealed the extent of his disturbing activities.
Kostrzewski confessed that he had been viewing child pornography for less than a year but possessed material involving children as young as infants. He showed investigators a hidden phone containing more illicit content, which was consistent with individuals attempting to conceal their identities during such acts.
The 20-year-old admitted to downloading and purchasing packages of child pornography featuring victims between the ages of 14 to 16. Kostrzewski also confessed that he knew the videos depicted teens engaging in sex acts, acknowledged it was wrong, and expressed remorse for his actions.
