Blackduck (trfnews.i234.me)—A Blackduck woman is facing serious criminal charges following an incident in which she allegedly used her vehicle to assault her boyfriend. According to court documents, Beltrami County deputies responded to a report of an assault involving a vehicle on April 7. The male victim reported that after an argument, his girlfriend, identified as Kelly Ann Mclaren, threatened to smash his vehicle with hers. She then allegedly drove her vehicle toward his, and when he stepped in front to intervene, his leg was pinned between the two vehicles. Mclaren subsequently left the scene. She has been charged with felonies for assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault, as well as a gross misdemeanor for DWI.
